The Ireland Under-20 Team (Sponsored by PwC) to play England in the IRB Junior World Championship playoffs has been named. The teams have met previously in the pool stages with England emerging victors thanks to a second half comeback.

The Irish management have made a number of changes to the side that overcame Italy 41 – 12 in their final pool game of the tournament.

Peter Nelson takes up the full back position while Barry Daily joins Foster Horan on the wing. Stuart Olding makes his first start of the tournament joining Chris Farrell in the centre while JJ Hanrahan and Kieran Marmion return to the opening XV at out-half and scrum-half.

Captain, Niall Scannell and Tadhg Furlong return to the starting team joining Des Merry in the front row. Tadgh Bernie has been named alongside Alan O’Connor in the second row while Iain Henderson, Jack Conan and Jordan Coghlan will start in the back row.

There is still one place to be filled in the replacements.

The games will be shown live on TG4
