The Ireland Club team to play France Clubs in the historic Ulster Bank Club International in Aviva Stadium on Saturday night (k.o. 8pm) has been named.
Tickets for the game are available from ticketmaster.ie while supporters attending the RBS 6 Nations game beforehand are encouraged to stay on and enjoy the cream of Irish club rugby in action.
Head coach Paul Cunningham has made a number of changes to the team that lost narrowly to Scotland last weekend.
Kevin McGrath of Skerries starts on the left wing while Blackrock’s Sean Coughlan comes in on the right wing. Angus Lloyd from Dublin University starts at scrumhalf. Gerry Hurley, who was a late withdrawal last week is in the replacements.
Up front Cork Constitution’s Ger Sweeney starts in the front row.
The Ireland team will wear their club socks for the match, marking the contribution that club rugby has made to the game in Ireland.
