Arriving at Portadown RFC on any day one is struck immediately by the care and attention to detail with which this sports buisness complex is maintained. Keen eyes have put in place a team of represetatives where care and attention is given on a daily basis to the presentation of club creating that country club feel as you drive into the spcaious and numerous car parks, then layed out in front of th elarge clubhouse is the magnificent 1st XV pitch which has ample room for the growing spectators and whoose stands and the pitch itself have been carefully tended.
To the side and towards the far end of the substantial grounds lie 3 more full size rugby pitches two of which had posts and both of which host competitive games of rugby on an almost weekly basis as the clubs 10+ fielded teams train and play.
Now the club are delighted to present the latest edition to the important leisure side to the club. Along side the gym, and offices, with functions held regularly in various rooms Portadown RFC’s clubhouse has launched a new restaurant called Scrumee, where modern and tasteful cuisine is offered for the visiors to the club including large parties which can be catered for in private function rooms.
We look forward very much to our visits to Portadown RFC and will be trying out the cuisine at Scrumee when we are next there.
