Absolutely superb game. The newly promoted Instonians took on league no 2 team Old wesley and left nothing on the pitch. With the return of a number of players, the whole team were excellent and remained in contention throughout scoring well.

Official Match Report:
1st lose at home 18-33 to old wesley in All Ireland League
It is not often that you lose a match by 5 tries to none but yet can feel you could have won!!
The reason for the 5 conceeded tries was “missed tackles”. The players concerned need to think hard and come back next week with the attitude to change.
I am sure they will.
In a day of disapointment there were positives:
No1 must be the dramatic return to the rugby field of Alan Whitten who has recovered from a serious illness. It was fantastic to see him in the squad and even better to see him on the pitch!! From everone “welcome back”.
