This was a strange game from an Instonians’ perspective. It was a game they could have thrown away carelessly or won with a bonus point victory; in the end they did just about enough to win. It was a bit like watching a racing car with a misfiring spark plug. For much of the game they spluttered along, then they would suddenly burst away with power, speed and breath taking rugby, only to return to a splutter again. |
