Instonians Team to Play Away to Malone in Ulster League on sat 12th Oct

Instonians 1st Xv will relish the challenge when they travel to Gibson park to play Malone in the Ulster League.

The side got their All Ireland League Campaign back on the road with a last minute win at home to Navan 14-13.

This Ulster League fixture will be a chance for the team to test themselves against a side two divisions above them.

Very few changes expected from the side that beat Navan.

Josh Cregan will come into the front row to replace Harry Martin who is unavailable.

The ankle injury of winger Jonny Martin sees the backline rejigged with Matt Kilpatrick going to wing and school leaver centre Ben Scott getting his first start at 13. This was the shirt occupied by his older brother James Scott for the previous 6 years.

The scrumhalf birth will be a fight between the abrasive Nico Andress and the elusive Matthew Keane. Expect to see both players have their part.

Richard Fegan on the wing will relish playing against his old club.

Starting 15:
1 Josh Cregan – playing his best rugby for the club – fitter
2 Ross Keane – hooker home from university
