Instonians find their rhythm after shaky start to claim bonus point league win over Ballymoney at Shaw’s Bridge
Instonians had a six try win in the Kukri Qualifying League 1 match to consolidate their position at the top of the table. They now have only two away games left –against Dromore and Clogher Valley. One win should see them win the league, although Clogher Valley are close on their heels.
Ballymoney kicked off with quite a strong wind at their backs. Within a minute they were awarded a penalty on the Instonian 22 and 15 metres in from touch. They elected to kick for goal and were successful in the tricky conditions to go 0-3 up.
