Instonians lifted the silverware last night at a rain sodden Kingspan Stadium, but they were made to work hard for their victory by an impressive Omagh Academicals side.
This was Inst’s fifth Junior Cup success – their first as an 1st XV – their last coming in 1994 and maintained their 100 per cent start to the season.
Omagh dominated the first half, particularly at the set piece but for all their territorial advantage they had nothing to show for it.
