SAUCE COMMUNICATIONS TO HANDLE PR FOR HOPE & GLORY
ORGANIC & ETHICAL TEAS
Established by a British born Indian couple with a passion for tea, Hope & Glory prides itself on selling only the best, organic teas, hand-picked from around the globe, then expertly blended for the British palate with the assistance of expert Tea Sommelier, Angela Pryce.
Founded by Nina Chudasama, a driven, entrepreneurial mum of three and supported by her husband Bharat Chudasama, a former commercial director specialising in pharmaceuticals, Hope & Glory was born from the desire to drink great tea every day, rather than settle for the average. Hope & Glory’s mission is to better communicate the diversity of the nation’s favourite drink, as well as educate us in the art of making a perfect cup of tea.
As British born Indians, tea is an important cultural tradition for both Nina and Bharat. Nina remembers the smell of Masala Chai wafting from the kitchen every morning, especially on Sundays, when the tea was brewed longer and stronger. The ladies of the family would take fresh black tea and add to it cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and pepper, steeped in a mix of half milk and water, and simmered in a pot on the stove. This blend now features within the Hope & Glory range.
Working alongside Nina and Bharat is Angela Pryce, an expert tea sommelier with over 14 years’ experience, having worked with a premium, UK based, FMCG tea brand as master tea buyer and blender. With Angela’s assistance, Nina and Bharat have ensured that each tea and tisane within the Hope & Glory range is perfectly blended for the British palate.
Shipped by sea freight from tea plantations across the world, Hope & Glory is challenging the environmental ethics and sustainability of the FMCG tea giants by only using sea vs. air travel, hand packing the product at source to avoid double handling or wasted transport materials, working with Ethical Tea Partnership approved suppliers and only using 100% certified organic ingredients within each blend. Hope & Glory proudly support Fair Trade and have ensured that waste reduction was considered in the design of the brand’s premium packaging.
Hope & Glory launched in November 2015 with four tea collections, each royally represented;

Founder and Managing Director of Hope & Glory tea, Nina Chudasama comments: “The name Hope & Glory is inspired by my Dad. He had to leave school at eleven to help put food on the table and despite this humble beginning he believed that if you worked hard your dreams would always come true. He bought me up to believe that Britain is a land of hope where, if you work hard, you can reap your glory, which means a roof over your head, food on the table and a happy, healthy family. Tea just makes it even better.
I am so passionate about Hope & Glory that I would go the ends of the earth to bring my customers excellent teas and extravagant tea experiences.”
