Ulster Rugby and Leinster Rugby are focused for the moment on this evening’s RaboDirect PRO12 game, but the thoughts of thousands of supporters from both clubs have already turned to next weekend’s Heineken Cup semi-finals, and also beyond to ERC’s showpiece occasion at Twickenham Stadium in May.

Over 40,000 tickets have already been sold for Ulster’s much anticipated semi-final clash with Edinburgh Rugby at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday week, however, with the Dublin venue’s capacity at 50,000, tickets are still available for the game on www.ticketmaster.ie/erc

The ASM Clermont Auvergne v Leinster semi-final on Sunday at the 34,000-capacity Stade Chaban-Delmas in Bordeaux is also heading for a sell-out with over 30,000 tickets already snapped up.

Following on from their epic quarter-final win over Munster Rugby, Ulster could make history on their first ever visit to the Aviva Stadium. A record crowd for an Ulster game of 49,000 witnessed their Heineken Cup final triumph at the old Lansdowne Road in 1999, however, that mark could be surpassed on Saturday week if the trend of current ticket sales continues.
