Fiona Staunton, a Ballymaloe trained chef with a degree in Education from Trinity runs Fiona’s food for life. She offers live cookery demos, in your workplace or club or for smaller groups in her kitchen in Dublin.
Her goal is to go into several businesses and sports clubs each week and show people how easy it can be to create tasty, nutritious food from scratch. While you may have lots of cookery books and like to watch cookery programs or videos, she feels that a live cookery demo, where you experience the smells, taste, and method for yourself, together with questions and tips, mean that you are much more likely to make that dish when you get back home to your own kitchen.
The aim is to shift away from convenience and processed foods and gain the many health benefits from the food nature gives us, locally where possible.
Seeing things being made, having the opportunity to ask questions and the experience to taste the dishes truly inspires people to try the recipes at home, even with a busy schedule.
Fiona’s ethos is ‘Cook, Eat, Nourish’, she cooks, you get to eat the delicious healthy food and then you are empowered to nourish yourself and those around you.

Fiona has presented live on Ireland AM and featured in magazines such as Women’s Way, Mum’s & Tots and Self Starter. She is also a judge for the Irish Quality Food Awards.

She runs parent and child cookery classes, demonstrations on fermentation, quick meals, slow cooking, seafood, summer cooking, BBQs, easy entertaining, family food, vegetarian, ethnic cookery and many more. Even if you cannot attend one of her live demos her website is a great source of recipes and tips.
