HEINZ LAUNCHES FIRST EVER NO ADDED SUGAR BEANZ
New Year, new Beanz! Heinz is launching No Sugar Beanz, a brand new variety of the nation’s favourite, which will be available in supermarkets from February. The new No Added Sugar Beanz will sit alongside Heinz’s standard Beanz, which is already low in sugar, offering health-conscious households and those looking to further reduce their sugar intake the first no added sugar baked beans from Heinz.
With 34% of UK households cutting back on eating sugary foods too often and, of those, 92% trying to actively reduce the amount of sugar in the foods they buy, it is clear that Brits are becoming increasingly concerned with overall sugar consumption[i]. The new and improved recipe from Heinz will replace the popular 50% Less Sugar variety and provides families with the same great taste but with no added sugar, allowing them to enjoy the new recipe with confidence.
Naturally high in protein and fibre and low in fat, Heinz Beanz is already low in sugar, gluten free, vegetarian friendly and also contributes towards one of your five a day. No Added Sugar Beanz is also produced with 25% less salt than standard Heinz Beanz, without compromising on the authentic Heinz taste.
