Everyone requires a good mechanic and we are delighted to highlight the achievements of Niall Thompson. Niall works for RO.CO Auto-Solutions in Lisburn. Roy Kemp and Colin Rainey, the owners of RO.CO, said, “We are extremely proud of what Niall has achieved and have every faith that Niall will be a success in his chosen vocation and progress to HNC Level.”
The training from his employer RO.CO and from SERC, plus Niall’s hard work was rewarded not only with the recognition of his high standards but also some excellent prizes. The Institute of the Motor Industry (I.M.I,) provided a Cordless Electric Impact Gun worth £250. His employers RO.CO presented Niall with a Teng Tool Top Box complete with tools and, from Lindsay Ford, Niall received a Teng Allen Key set.
Niall is currently completing the course NVQ Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (Light Vehicles) and winning second place in the national apprentice scheme is a clear indication that he is amongst the most talented trainees in the motor vehicle business in Northern Ireland.
