Last year the Ulster Juniors played Connacht @ Dromore RFC on the day that Ulster Rugby played the Heineken Cup semi final. Connacht were the current inter-pro champions and we nearly beat them. This year Ulster played them in Connacht @ The Sports ground and we won! The Ulster Juniors went on to take on Munster and were within one point and a wrongly dissallowed try of taking out Leinster. We caught up with John Todd @ Templeton Robinson Estate Agents and asked him What it means to play for Ulster and what is the future – including a possible doudle header after a RaboDirect game @ Ravenhill.
With other provinces playing dual registered semi pro and provincial players with some internationals in the mix and massive investment the Ulster Juniors are taking on and beating opposition teams its massive and just shows that our Q1 Q2 & Q3 players are brilliant
