Well Done Enniskillen ~ Rugby and then 80s theme dancing ~ the spirit if rugby!
The ladies team were unfortunate that an opposing team was unable to field but without wasting the opportunity for a competitive game the ladies played some touch rugby splitting the team into two sides. Good effort was put in by everyone allowing some of the newer members to experience some spirited rugby.

The next game saw the two local Under-19 teams, Enniskillen take on Potora Royal School. A highly competitive game saw both sides making hard hits and quick lines through the opposition. Unfortunate for Enniskillen the PRS side took the lead at the final whistle with the score being 17 – 12.
The main game of the night saw Enniskillen 1st XV take on the Exiles I XV, a team created of past players from Enniskillen along with some friends. Skins 1st XV were seen sporting their faithful maroon and the Exiles “suiting up” for the occasion. Amid the great standard of play some light-hearted rivalry could be seen. Big tackles and fast angles were seen through the game with some unfortunate injuries for players on both sides. A quick recovery is wished for the injured parties. The exiles proved victorious at the end of the game with a score of 51-26.
The rugby was the first of the entertainment for the night with a BBQ following the games and an 80’s themed party organised by the Ladies team taking place in Level 7 in Blakes of the Hollow. The party was a great success with fashion from Top Gun, the Smurfs and Ghostbusters seen throughout the night.
Through all the impressive displays of rugby seen on the night there is an exciting season ahead for all the Enniskillen Rugby Club and Potora Royal School teams.
