The Emerging Ireland team to play South Africa President’s XV in their second game of the IRB Tbilisi Cup has been named by Coach Allen Clark.
Clarke has made a number of changes to the side who overcame the host side, Georgia 20 – 15 in their opening game.
Niall Annett has been named off the bench to join Jack McGrath and Michael Bent in the front row with Ian Nagle joining David Foley in the second row. Jordi Murphy makes his first start of the tournament alongside Rhys Ruddock and Robbie Diack in the back row.
A freshened-up centre pairing sees Noel Reid make his first start of the tournament alongside Brendan Macken and John Cooney starts at scrum half.
Munster’s Dave O’Callaghan has been called into to the squad as a replacement for Lewis Stevenson who has returned home due to illness. O’Callaghan has been named on the bench.
