Donegal Town RFC u-13 Led this final all the way following a great try by Woods, sweetly converted by the boot of Mcgowan, just before halftime. They were to hold this lead, despite Rainey coming back at them with an unconverted try of their own. But with just a minute left on the clock they conceded a 5 yard scrum. Rainey’s no 8 slipped over the line for a try that left the Donegal boys no time for a way back. Nevertheless this defeat couldn’t take away what has been a brilliant year for these boys, their parents, families and friends who came along in great no’s to support them, and particularly for their coaches Paul O Gara, Ciaran Murphy and Paul Timoney.
