Danske Bank Ulster Schools’ Round Up Saturday 3rd November 2018
Due to the half term holiday break only two schoolboy 1stxv friendly games were played on Saturday 3rd November.
Bangor Grammar School played Belfast Royal Academy in a high scoring game the Belfast Royal Academy team won by 33-26. Ben McCrossan scored two tries for the Bangor Grammar School team with Cameron Stewart and Oliver Hamilton each scoring one try. Rhys Larmour was successful with three of his conversion kicks.
The Belfast Royal Academy points came through tries from Jack Whitley, Adam Keed, Ollie Parkes, Patrick Termini and Dominick Rhodes. Harry Warke was successful with four of his conversion kicks.
Wallace High School hosted Portadown College in another high scoring game the Wallace High School team won by 44-24. Nathan Robinson and Jack Dillon each scored two tries for the Wallace High School team with Finn Malley, Daniel Kilpatrick, Joel Dundas and Scott Wilson each scoring one. Jack Dillon was successful with two of his conversion kicks.
The Portadown College team scored three tries through Elliott McKee, Scott McDowell and Ethan Williamson. Adam Speers converted all three tries as well as adding one penalty kick.
The game involving Royal School, Dungannon and Rainey Endowed School which was to have been played on Saturday 3rd November has been re-scheduled for Monday 5th November at the Mid Ulster Sports Arena in Magherafelt with a 4-30pm kick off.
