The prospect of a cup final at Ravenhill brings out the best in Supporters and Players. Bus loads will arrive at Ravenhill on the Tuesday for the hotly anticipated Crawford Cup Final!
This is undoubtedly silverware season and Cups which have been in the possession of last years winners are being polished and prepared for the moment when the winning captain and players will lift the cup in front of their friends and and family.
It is vitally important to acknowledge the enormous hard work, energy and rugby skills of both teams who have absolutely delighted their fans all season.
This is good honest fun with all the focus that a cup final brings and it looks as if the weather is going to hold out for a brilliant day at Ravenhill and the 1st time the Crawford Cup has been played at the new Ravenhill.

Named in memory of WE (Ernie) Crawford, a famous full back capped 30 times for Ireland in the 1920′s in the days when there were only 4 internationals in the year. He was a Collegian but played his club rugby for Lansdowne. He was a Past President of IRFU
