All Ireland Cup Final Cooke Ladies V U L Bohmeinans 25-22
Cooke Ladies were unable to complete their winning streak with an All Ireland Cup win on Saturday suffering a highly contested 25-22 defeat the game was an excellent display of women’s rugby and a narrow miss left the traveling Cooke ladies team disappointed, but with their squad having so many young squad members there will be plenty of time to bring the cup home top Belfast again in the future.
Cooke upped the game hugely about 30 minutes in with their points and performance in that period becoming a lot more fluid.
UL Bohemians were to score first but with his closely contested tit for tat game each time they scored Cooke retaliated with a try of their own!! This was an excellent performance by Cooke’s young squad against an experienced UL Bohemian squad and definitely a day to be proud of.
Cooke Ladies are looking forward to the rest of the season and finishing well, and coming back next year to bring the cup home to Belfast.
