Coleraine Rugby Club celebrated another great year with the annual club awards dinner on Friday evening, 11 May 2012.

Some of the players and their awards on Friday evening at Coleraine RFC Dinner: Adam Teacy, Andrew Neely, Brian Cochrane, Stuart Evans and Stevie Callaghan

Host for the evening, Karl Monteith, introduced club president Willie Duffin and the guest of honour, former Ireland and Ulster star Trevor Ringland. Following the dinner and some very entertaining speeches the awards were presented by Trevor Ringland.

The Bob Jackson Memorial Trophy for best First XV forward went to Stephen Dickey and the Owen Montgomery Memorial Trophy for best back went to Brian Cochrane.

Most Improved First XV player Andrew Neely was awarded the E O’Hara Cup

Brian Cochrane picked up another award as the Players’ Player of the Year.

In the Second XV awards Adam Teacy gained the Coleraine RFC Club Shield for most improved player of the year.

Forward of the year was Stuart Evans and back of the year was Stevie Callaghan.

For the Thirds the Monteith Trophy for player of the year went to Andy Draycott and the Jimmy Little Trophy for best forward went to Robert Andrews.

The Neely Trophy for Fourth XV player of the year went to Gareth McCurdy. Paddy McComb won the Derek Love Memorial Trophy for Under 19 player of the year.

Clubman of the year Gareth Godfrey was awarded the Neil Donovan Memorial Trophy. Administrator for the year, the Scott Shield, went to John Blair.

The Kukri Award for outstanding services to rugby went to Kevin Bradley and Brian Campbell.

The players in the Second XV Crawford Cup winning side were presented with winners medals.
