It was the Ladies’ Rugby Awards night at Coleraine Rugby Club on Friday evening.
The ladies were celebrating the end of the season and looking forward to the next as they held their end of season function. There was a big turn out for the do and a great night of celebration soon got under way..
The winners were: Best Overall Player – Aimee Neely, Most Improved Players – Jodie Gilmore and Catherine Graham, Best Forwards – Amy Chestnutt and Sapphire Dudley, Best Back – Jasmine Anderson.
The awards were presented by Cathal Carr, Rugby Chairman,along with Brian Kneeland and Jamsie Carson, coaches.
Team captain Amy Chestnutt congratulated all the members for their commitment throughout the season. She also made a call for new members to join one of the fastest growing sports in the country.
