Malone return to wining ways with a deserved victory over Dungannon
By Stephen Barbour, 25th Jan 2014
Malone were victorious against Dungannon when both sides met at Stevenson Park under the Flood Lights.
Malone put in a workman like performance in their bottom of the table clash with Dungannon. The final score was 3-13, with all Malone’s points coming from centre Nathan Browne.
Two first half penalties from Browne gave Malone a 6 point advantage which they increased when he again scored an excellent try, which he converted.
The home side could manage only a second half penalty, despite some useful play the Malone defence was up to the job.
So a much needed win, will hopefully increase the self belief of the players and spur them on to greater things.
