Ben Scott had taken over captaincy duties from Richard Griffen (injury), and he has led Civil Service to some immense victories in the Gordon west Cup against rivals Lurgan and in the league.
Against a back drop of other teams folding Civil Service are continuing to move forward and provide themselves with a platform to hopefully move towards 3 teams and are delighted that a further 20 players have joined the club for the 2011/12 season.

Despite creating some fantastic chances the 2nd XV were unable to turn pressure into points and eventually slipped to defeat. As John Kellys men pressed forward desperate to score they conceded two late intercept tries which left the final score noting reflect how close the match had been.
