Monday 25th February saw another great turn out of the Under 18’s Ladies team at City of Armagh RFC.
The Club was a hive of activity due to Ulster Under 16 Boys training and the P6/P7 Minis’ squad preparing
for an up-coming match.
The girls had the added bonus of welcoming Ulster and Ireland Triple Crown winning international,
Ashleigh Baxter, on a break from Irish Camp prior to Ireland Ladies Grand Slam clash against France on
8th March at Ashbourne RFC. Ashleigh took part in the girls’ training session and was greeted by John
Atkinson, Club President, and Shirley-Anne Donaldson, Manager of Ladies Rugby.
As well as Ashleigh and John, pictured with the squad are Ladies Coaches Zoe Templeton, Claire
Wallace, Mark Riddle and Philip Fletcher.
Good luck to Ashleigh and Ireland on the 8th and Armagh Ladies will be there, en-masse, to cheer
them on.
