Past President Paul McCord in Charity Paris2Nice Challenge for Make a Wish Ireland
Paul is taking part in the Paris2Nice challenge in September 2015 to raise money for Make a Wish Ireland. Since 1992 over 1600 wishes have been granted in Ireland but many remain outstanding and you can see more about the great work this charity does at http://makeawish.ie
The Paris2Nice challenge involves cycling over 700km in 6 days, including the infamous Tour de France ascent of Mont Ventoux, a climb of almost 22km and almost 2000m of elevation. Paul hasn’t been on a bike since primary school (a long time ago) nor has he ever undertaken anything remotely as challenging as this but whatever he may have to endure cannot begin to compare with what the children and families who benefit from the work of the Make a Wish team have to cope with. Please help him make wishes come true for some incredibly brave children.

Paul would like to thank you all in advance for any support and if you don`t want to donate online he will be organising some events at City-of Armagh Rugby-Club over the next few months, details to follow on the Club website
