Armagh 4xv played entertained Rainey Old Boys on only their second game of the 2013-14 season at the Palace Grounds on Saturday.
A lot of new faces made up the young team including Robert Dougan, Nathan Hall, Alex Starret and Philip Mills
This influx of young talent seen required several of the players to try out new positions on what turned out to be a big physical encounter. The dreadful weather conditions did nothing to help ball handling on what turned out to be one of the wettest Saturday afternoons in a long time!
However, tries from Mark Curley, Paul Cully, Eoin O’Hagan and Robert Dougan and two conversions from Trevor Girvan helped see Rainey off with a well deserved win on a day which saw each and every player give there all!
Armagh will travel to Portadown next Saturday in which promises to be another entertaining game.
