Cinco Jotas’ elaborate Christmas collection, with gifts ranging in price from £75 to £4,000, features several limited-edition items, designed in collaboration with Spanish digital artist Tito Merello Vilar.
Having risen to fame on Instagram, where he now has over 200,000 followers, Vilar is known for his vibrant digital illustrations, created on iPad Pro, which make beautiful use of textures, shadows, and intertwining patterns. Inspired by the Spanish Surrealist art movement, Vilar has created the Cinco Jotas Garden of Eden, depicting magical scenes of celebration. In these dreamlike illustrations, there are flying pigs – 100% ibérico, of course, a glamorous lady adorned in a gown created from slices of ham, a guest arriving by hot air balloon, an oak tree with leaves that have turned into ibérico ham slices, and Cinco Jotas Master Carvers slicing ham for their fantasy guests.
