Chris Jelly, one of Northern Ireland’s best young coaches, is the Head Teaching Professional at Dungannon Golf Club, where Darren Clarke played prior to turning pro. Prior to Darren, Carol Wallace, under the skillful tutelage of her father Paddy Wallace, Dungannon’s first pro, won the British Girls Championship and the Irish Girls Championship.

Chris embraces modern technology and new concepts to make coaching effective and fun.

Whether it’s a complete coaching programme, golf basics, tweaking a swing, advice on equipment or coaching juniors Chris is there to help squeeze the most out of this wonderful game that both tantalises and frustrates in equal measures.

Padraig Harrington says ” regular tuition and advice from a PGA professional whether on technique or equipment- is one of the most beneficial things any golfer can do to improve not only their game but also their enjoyment of golf”.

Karl Morris suggests that “95% of golfers are wasting their time in the way they practice”. Recent research by USGA supports this… the average handicap for the male for male golfers was 16 in 2011 and FORTY years ago it was 16!

Chris Jelly will help you improve your handicap with a personalised road map that includes coaching in all shots from driver to putting, mental aspects and a structured practice program.

Coaching can either be arranged at Dungannon Golf Club at The Barry Hamill Golf Academy near Cookstown. For contact information and directions – see Contact Chris CLICK HERE

For those of you who cannot travel to Dungannon Chris offers an email service using video and cSwing analysis.
