YMCA travelled to Cavan on sat 6 th-Non stop rain and very poor light made the game difficult for all. Teams traded points for most of the game and it looked as either team could win. YM were up against a much heavier pack but with some new players in the scrum they defended well-Cavan held the upper hand most of the game but could not get through on many occasions. For the second week in a row YM lost a forward player to injury in the second half and eventually the extra man told again and Cavan sealed the game with a late try to win 18 9. With 4 first team players missing for this game YM brought in some new young players to fill the gap for those in their first game they did ok and hopefully they now have a taste for this level of the game.
