Man of the Tournament was David McIlwaine – deservedly the outstanding player.
The rugby was awesome. These guys play sevens for about 3 weeks a year so to have seen the standard on display today was excellent. The 7s patterns were there with some very very big hits, some electric pace and in many cases the ability to create scores from seemingly impossible positions. Team work, individual flare and a respectful spirit made for an extrememly entertaining series of games.
Queens deservedly won although City Of Derry put up an awesome fight perhaps gaining from palying the Shamrock Warriors last weekend at the Omagh 7s.
Belfast Harlequins took the Bowl but all the teams played very well and great to see such ability on display.
