Ulsters own Willy Stewart begins a week long trial at Harlequins today, culminating in a game vs Leeds Rhinos on Saturday! This is on the back of the screening camp and also Willy performing well for Ulster and Ireland A.

Also Two Ireland A team players have been signed on 18 month contracts for St Helens on the back of the Rugby League Ireland Super League screening camp.

This is a great success story for RLI with 3 guys being involved in Super League clubs after the first camp! Rugby League can now provide young gifted athletes with a pathway to professional sport.

Ireland A were in action on Saturday past, but were unfortunatly defeated 26 18 by Scotland in Scotstoun Stadium, Glasgow. Ireland A finish the season joint second with England and Scotland who all won one game while Wales won the grand slam.
