CANTERBURY unveil HERITAGE INSPIRED 1871 COLLECTION

Canterbury today revealed the brand new 1871 Autumn Winter collection, a premium lifestyle range that combines tradition and style in tribute to English rugby heritage. Designed by Canterbury on English shores, the 1871 collection takes on a subtle retro feel that draws upon the history of the England kit but remains in keeping with the style of today.

To mark the launch of the new 1871 collection, England players Danny Cipriani, Joe Launchbury and Ben Morgan came together to show their commitment to England and wear the collection with the same pride and passion felt by those who first sported the famous rose over 100 years ago.

The premium 1871 collection includes a variety of traditional-styled classic rugby shirts, t-shirts and polo shirts, all featuring the iconic heritage rose synonymous with England rugby. White, red and navy blue feature heavily throughout the range, conjuring memories of the nation’s relationship with the game that has lasted for more than a century.

An oversized version of the famous red rose emblem, inspired by the very first England shirts created in 1871, takes pride of place in on the chest of each shirt, making this the ideal lifestyle choice for those wishing to show their support and passion for England Rugby in true style during a very special Rugby World Cup year.

Alongside the innovative England RWC 2015 playing kit, the new 1871 collection provides the perfect addition to the wardrobe of any England fan wanting to share in the proud traditions of England Rugby.

The range will be on sale at www.Canterbury.com from 12th August.
