Camden Town Brewery partners with Gilbert to launch new campaign, supporting grassroots rugby clubs across the country
Camden Town Brewery announce ‘Give ’em Hells’; a campaign in partnership with Gilbert to support local rugby clubs both on and off the pitch.
As the Autumn Internationals come to a finish, Camden Town Brewery are announcing their newest campaign, ‘Give ’em Hells’. An initiative championing grassroots clubs across the UK.
Grassroot rugby clubs across the UK have long been places for local communities to gather to celebrate great rugby, attend community led events (who hasn’t watched the fireworks at their local club?) and enjoy a post-match pint together.
But with player numbers dropping -23% over the last 6 years in the UK and the financial state of rugby remains uncertain, grassroots rugby clubs are in need of support on and off the pitch.
So, Camden Town Brewery are announcing the launch of their ‘Give Em Hells’ campaign to provide grassroots clubs with fresh beer, new rugby balls and a discounted TNT Sports subscription, as well as other brand support all in the name of bringing more people into the clubhouse.
We hope this means that not only can clubs focus on playing the game they love, but we can also get their local communities down to support their local club games and spend more time in their local clubhouses.
Camden, in collaboration with Gilbert, is committed to providing support to clubs across the whole of the UK. Increasing footfall and dwell time in rugby clubs is the number one priority to help generate more income for clubs that often struggle financially. Camden’s ambition is to support clubs for the long term, building authentic ties with the fans, players and communities that form the bedrock of the sport.
Although Camden Town Brewery is best known for its lager Hells, it also brews a Pale Ale (4% abv) and a Stout (4% abv) meaning it has all rugby fans’ tastes covered.
