Weekend match results updates:
Girls U15s had their first full contact game on Sunday in a blitz, Eniskillen.
First game result: VRFC 6-2 Enniskillen/Armagh
The girls then played an U18s combined team of Eniskillen/Armagh and Finn Valley. Final score 4-1 to Virginia.
Altogether a brilliant performance by all the Virginia girls. Training at usual time of 10.30am on Sunday morning next.
The U11s went to kells. First game was against North Meath. And although a strong performance on VRFC’s side, NMRFC won 5-4. They then played Athboy with a much better performance and a win of 8-2.
The u13s were narrowly beaten by Lurgan RFC with a score of 13-12. The boys played brilliantly throughout until a penalty at the end left them with a one point defeat.
The U9s had 2 teams played Navan. Team 1: VRFC 1-1 Navan
Team 2: VRFC 6-2 Navan
The U7s played Dundalk.
Team 1 lost the 1st game 6-4 but then won the 2nd game 6-3.
Team 2 drew the 1st game 3-3 and lost their 2nd 3-1.
