New signing – Phil Whyte
Bangor RFC is pleased to welcome Phil Whyte to the senior squad.
Hot on the heels of the 1st XV promotion to QL1, recruitment officer Danny Curran has more good news for the club with the announcement that Phil Whyte has signed for the coming season, and hopefully beyond.
Although still a young ‘un, Phil brings a wealth of front row experience gained through an illustrious playing career starting at Bangor Grammar School, then moving through Ulster Schools, Irish U19 Schools and Ulster 20’s until his most recent spell at Dungannon.
It’s always good to welcome back another Bangorian, and we wish him every success with the club as it embarks on a challenging season ahead.
