Quins put on an excellent display of forward power and defensive prowess in this UBL match which was played in difficult conditions.
BELFAST Harlequins moved into third place in the table after this impressive win which had to be played on a back pitch at Deramore due to the fact that the main patch was deemed unplayable.
Quins third successive league win was forged on the back of their forward dominance and their suffocating defensive effort which saw out half Mark Kettyle put in a hugely industrious amount of work while there were also excellent all-round performances from prop Richard Lutton who did so much to destroy Buccs’ set-piece, hooker Niall Annett, second row and skipper Gareth Rourke, flanker Lawrence Babe and scrum half Michael Heaney.
This now sets Quins up well for Friday night’s clash at Deramore with leaders Ballynahinch who are still unbeaten after nine games.
