Message from the President
Exciting news from our new President on the eve of the club’s tour to Italy.
What a fantastic piece of news through for us all at the rugby club. We have just learnt that the tour squad has been given the chance to play a Treviso Select XV on their Italy Tour, on the 6th August, at the Stadio Manigo.
I am so envious for all the guys who will have such a great opportunity to pit their skills and strength against this type of opposition. I know I speak on behalf of the whole club – players and Alickadoos alike – in wishing the team and squad that respresents us on the field the best of luck, and we know they will do us proud.
Bring ‘em on!

As the final pieces of kit have now arrived, the tourists proudly display their travelling and playing outfits.
With less than a week to go, everything is now in place and the sense of anticipation and excitement is mounting. Certainly the clubs we plan to play against are equally expectant, given the amount of web space and local promotion they have produced in advance of our visit.
A big thanks to Tony, Tiko, Jamie, Coops, Vinny, Jake and AJ for all their hard work on the organising committee, and best wishes for a successful and safe tour to the players.

The club is also thankful for the steadying and responsible hand of our club president, Ashley Armstrong, who will be keeping a watchful eye on proceedings as the tour progresses!
