Last Saturday Banbridge Rugby Club rounded off their season with the presentation of awards to players at all levels from P1 to First XV.
Departing First XV captain Ian Porter was the special guest at the mini and youth awards on Saturday morning. The Ulster scrum-half is moving to Connacht on a two-year contract and he recalled for the younger Bann players how his own rugby career had started off playing mini rugby at Rifle Park.
Following the morning awards ceremony many of the youth players and parents travelled to Ravenhill to watch the club’s U-19s retain the Ulster (Roland Barr) Cup. Then on Saturday evening the U-19 squad joined in the celebration of another successful season at the senior club awards dinner…….. for the story & shots CLICK HERE!!
