Banbridge RFC are delighted to host an evening with Rory Best on Wednesday 27th June 2012.
Rory is currently touring New Zealand with the Irish team and it is our pleasure to have him in the club at the end of what has been a memorable season with a mix of highs and lows for the Ulster and Ireland hooker.
Past President Kenny McElroy will host an exciting evening, exploring Rory’s early days starting out playing mini rugby at Banbridge, and charting his rise up through the ranks culminating this season in a hooker of the tournament performance at the 2011 Rugby World Cup, Ireland captaincy, and a heartbreaking defeat at the hands of Leinster in the Heineken European Cup Final.
When : 7.30pm for 8.00pm start on Wednesday 27th 2012
Where : Banbridge Rugby Club
Cost : £10 – all proceeds in aid of the Club Tour to South Africa.
We intend to have a raffle on the evening and Rory will spend a bit of time mingling with guests.
