Another great win on the road today for Ballyshannon senior men against a tough physical Omagh side. In a 5 try blitz it was man of the match Richard Gallagher who is having a magnificent season who accounted for three tries and along with Belleek men John Treacy and Daniel Mc Gullion who scored the other two just were too much too handle for the Omagh side.
In a few change from last week Daragh Tyrell returned to Number 8 and was flanked by James O Donnell and Kealan Mc Nulty who made the unusual move from winger to wing forward and done very well, and Dominic Gillespie also a regular on the wing moved into the front row to deputise for an ill Alan Prendergast and proved a worthy replacement.
Player coach Ray Gallagher sat todays game out as he was able to call on John Treacy for the first time this season and proved a potent strike force along side Mark Rooney.
The long awaited return of Anthony Coughlin to the second row beefed up the Ballyshannon pack and Daniel Mc Gullion also made his first start of the season and was rewarded with a try.
This win keeps Ballyshannon clear at the top of the table with Enniskillen biting at their heels.
Well done lads, keep up the good work!!

This Saturday Ballyshannon are at home to Banbridge at the Lakeside with a kick off time at 2.30pm and local support would be greatly appreciated for this young side, also on Sunday the Ladies are at home in a top of the table clash against Carrickfergus in what could prove to be a crucial game in determining league title honours, again the more support the better for the ladies as they have been playing excellent rugby this season.

Saturdays team was:
Paul Cassidy, Dominic Gillespie, Brian Killalea, Anthony Coughlin, Richard Gallagher, Kealan Mc Nulty, James O Donnell (C), Daragh Tyrell, Paul Connolly, Mark Rooney, Dermot Connolly, John Treacy, Tom Dillon, Daniel Mc Gullion and Daire Keown. Replacements: Shane O Donnell (used) Ray Gallagher and Darren Gillespie.
