Up to 40 mini players travelled to Annagry this morning to take part in a blitz hosted by Tir Chonaill. Five teams in total took part: Tir Chonaill, Ballyshannon, Donegal Town, Inishowen and Letterkenny. The club fielded teams in each section u8’s, 10’s and 12’s. CLICK HERE for the shotsssssssssss
From the kick off all players gave it their utmost. The handling and ball was excellent and they enjoyed success in the scrums. If this blitz is anything to go by we can look forward to a very enjoyable season because the standard of rugby was of the highest quality. It indicates a great future for the club with all these up and coming under-age players and recognizes the efforts of the coaches for their hard work and dedication. Parents must also be recognized for making the long journey today and driving the players.
