Conor Carey dives over to score the sixth Hinch try
Richard Mulligan reports from Ballymacarn Park

A seven-try haul ensured Ballynahinch a bonus point victory at Ballymacarn Park on Saturday. The County Down men are the only unbeaten side in Division 1B and they go into the New Year clear at the top of the table and more than ready for the crucial middle segment of fixtures in the section.

It was a fine performance from Hinch, patiently building through their strong pack and then letting a talented backline move with the ball with aplomb.

It was not a perfect display and there is still things to work on which will please coach, Derek Suffern, but this was a much more rounded performance than their last outing when they walloped Ballymena 43-24 at Eaton Park a fortnight ago……. CLICK HERE for the full story.
