Alan Montgomery reports from Stradbrook, Dublin.

Ballynahinch were in Dublin for the second weekend in a row, this time they faced Blackrock College, the first meeting between both clubs in any competition.

Hinch kicked off with the wind at their backs, however it was the home side that started the brighter with David Godfrey having an early shot at the posts with a drop goal but his effort drifted wide.

The Hinch responded well and opened the scoring in the 5th minute with a well worked try which was started by Aaron Ferris with Robin Harte continuing the attack before putting Chris Quinn clear to score. Quinn added the extras to give the Hinch a 7-point lead….. for the full story CLICK HERE
