Ballynahinch made the short journey to Deramore Park in Belfast on Friday evening to take on third place side Harlequins. The Deramore pitch had suffered from the adverse weather conditions over recent weeks and although both touchlines and 22’s were in good shape a faulty drain in the midfield left the ground there very heavy indeed.
Hinch played towards the clubhouse in the opening 40 minutes and had to handle a lively start from the home side as they dominated the opening 10 minutes. In the 5th minute Michael Heaney missed a shot at goal after the Hinch had entered a ruck from the side. However, Heaney was on target to open the scoring in the 9th minute after Michael Graham was slow to release a tackled player on the ground, giving Quins a 3-0 lead…… For the Full Story CLICK HERE
