 Hinch 2’s rounded off their season in fine style when they recorded an emphatic victory over Clogher Valley, the Towns Cup and Qualifying League Division One winners on Saturday at Ballymacarn Park.

In near perfect conditions this “test” match between undoubtedly the two top teams in Qualifying and 2nd XV rugby was a great advert for rugby.

The Hinch team with an average age of 21 and including a number of teenagers made their intentions clear from the start and opted for a running game against the much bigger and heavier Clogher Valley pack. Both teams served up a twelve try thriller with the Hinch boys claiming ten of them to add the Conference League title to earlier successes in winning the Junior Cup at Ravenhill and completed the 2nd XV league with a 100% record………… for the full story follow :>> http://www.hinchrfc.com/

Ballynahinch RFC Under 10 Mini Rugby Tour to Athy RFC Festival and Camp Out

On Saturday 26 April at 7.30am, the 32 man Ballynahinch Under 10 (P6) Tour squad gathered at Ballymacarn prior to leaving for the long bus journey to the Showgrounds in Athy for the annual Athy RFC mini rugby festival and camp-out.

 With the Tour kit issued (arrived the night before – phew!), 28 excited minis and 4 less than excited Coaches boarded the Bullicks bus to make the journey south. After an entertaining, song filled bus trip (confiscated rugby balls were returned to their owners on arrival!), the tour party arrived at Athy RFC and got changed ready to warm-up for their matches.………… for the full story follow :>> http://www.hinchrfc.com/
