A closely fought contest, with fast flowing rugby, great ball handling skills, and some brilliant crash balls!
Before the game The Bulldogs had been written off. As the game unfolfded this was not the result. The Bulldogs competed throughout the game and must be ranked as now very much in contention for a semi-final spot.
The bulldogs face Portadown next week and that will be a game to watch!
The Ballynahinch Rabittohs were efficient making good use of their excellent team work. Being assured already of a semi-final spot in the Ulster provincial league.
Speaking to Tim Morton after the game, he said, “Rugby League in Ulster has progressed significantly from last year with a new team in Fermanagh, and a team at Rainey that will hopefully join the league next year. Congratulations to Richard rainey and Andy Hodgson making Ireland A honours this weekend. As for The Rabittohswe have added guys this year and will be aiming to make it to the final.”
