Ballymoney RFC Notes: 60th Anniversary Dinner is on the 8th June!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Black Tie!!!!!!!!!!!! Syd Millar Will Be Speaking!!!!!!!!!!!

Ballymoney RFC are holding a 60th Anniversary Dinner on Saturday 8th June at the clubhouse.

All current members are invited to this Black Tie Dinner along with any player who has paid more than 60 games for the club.

The evening will take the form of a meal with Guest Speaker on the evening will be past IRFU President and British Lion Syd Millar addressing the guests followed by entertainment.

Club Organiser Alex Houston has been working closely with past players to ensure everyone is invitied, however over the years address have changed so if you have not received a letter please get in touch wiht Alex Houston, John Patton, David Robinson or John Campbell. Alternatively you can e-mail the club website with your contact details.

The club is encouraging all past winners and finalist to attend and for as many past winning or final teams to attend together as possible.

Over the past 10 years since the 50th Dinner there has been a number of successes

4th XV winning their minor league section
3rd XV winning their junior league section
1st XV winning Qualifying 3 and Gordon West Cup (2004)
1st XV winning Qualifying 3 and Gordon West Cup (2006)
1st XV winning Qualifying 2
1st XV winning Towns Cup
4th XV finalist of McCambley Cup
2nd XV finalist of Crawford Cup

There were also a number of players over the past 10years who represented Junior Ulster and it would be great if all these could attend.
