The visitors were certainly a competitive, combative outfit during the match and made life far from easy for TOON girls.
However, a good workout in front of the home fans was probably what Ballymoney needed in this fixture, and should remind them that they should never rest on their laurels in any match.
In fact, if they had not displayed sharper finishing skills, the outcome would have went the way of the Letterkenny team, who played a lot of the second half in TOON territory.
Credit must go to the visitors, as they provided stern opposition, and will certainly be a tough nut to crack during this season for their opponents.
