Through a combination of factors, not least the bad weather, 1st XV fixtures have been rearranged. The schedule to the end of the season now reads as follows:-
April 6th—————-no game – Mini Festival
April 13th ————-Bucaneers (away)
April 20th ————-UCD (home)
April 27th ————-Harlequins (home)
City of Derry game (UCL) (home) which had been arranged for April 27th now has to be re-arranged.
The Corporate Lunch scheduled for the 20th April will now take place on the 27th.
Under 20s win Instonians Tournament
A team of Under 20 players took part in the Easter Monday Tournament at Shaw’s Bridge and are to be congratulated on bringing the trophy home. After winning their group which containedInstonians and Academy, they beat Quins in the semi final by 24-14 and then went on to beat Queen’s in the final by 17-11. Fifths through to Final
In a hard fought game at Eaton park the Fifths, despite moving up a grade this season, won their way through to the Final of the Forster Cup, to be played on 20th April.
